Jamie Dimon, the CEO and chairman of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, will get $17 million in bonuses this year, his company reported Friday.

Dimon, who led the bank out of a financial crisis into record-breaking profits in 2009, will receive the bonuses in the form of stocks and options, the company said in an SEC filing.

He will not be paid in cash, a move widely seen as bow to public pressure over bankers being paid for short-term performances, rather than long-term gains at their firms.

In 2008, Dimon was not paid a bonus. In 2007, he got $28 million.
